Engagement – Employee engagement is a fundamental part of our workplace culture. We want all our team to feel like one big happy family, where they feel valued and supported. We want to create positive employee experiences and build strong relationships with our teams through training, team building activities, supplier visits, sporting events and fun nights out.

Two-way Communication – Communication is our top priority. We want all employees to be fully aware of what’s happening within the business and have an opportunity to ask questions, voice their concerns and put forward their views. 

Empowerment – We give our teams the freedom to make their own decisions. We fully accept that sometimes staff may make mistakes which we view as a positive learning experience to enable them to grow and develop as a person.

All staff and managers are required to complete ‘Disability Awareness’ and ‘Diversity, inclusion & equality’ online training modules to ensure sure they have a broad understanding regarding these areas and raise awareness so they can fully support their colleagues. Our mangers have also attended ‘Proud Allies Training’ which has helped to increase confidence around inclusive language, engaging with LGBTQIA+ communities and people.

We’re delighted to be one of the region’s first tourism businesses to sign up to accessible online platform, WelcoME, to provide an enhanced inclusive welcome for staff and visitors.
